Light Your World

BE THE LIGHT THIS SEASON!

This Christmas, Christian Life is coming alongside families in our church facing financial hardship who might not otherwise be able to provide Christmas for their families.

Through Light Your World, selected families receive Christmas gifts for their children, a practical gift for the parents to help meet a need in their home, and a full Christmas dinner for their family.

You can help us make Christmas possible for these families.

Every gift to Light Your World goes directly toward helping us serve families this Christmas. Whether you give enough to help sponsor a child or simply give what you can, every dollar helps us share the love of Jesus in a practical and meaningful way.

The average cost to sponsor one child is $300, but every gift makes a difference.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5-14-16 NKJV

Common Questions

Light Your World begins with a nomination from within the Christian Life Leadership. Nominated families may then be invited to complete an application. Because the needs within our church can exceed the resources available, a nomination or application does not guarantee selection.

Absolutely! The average cost to serve one child through Light Your World is approximately $300. You can give $300 to help cover the cost of one child, give toward multiple children, or give any amount. Every gift helps.

One of the best ways to be part of Light Your World is by giving. Your generosity helps provide Christmas gifts, practical support, and Christmas dinner for the families we serve.

Our NextGen Team will lead the Light Your World event, with event volunteers primarily coming from that ministry.

100% of your Light Your World donation goes toward serving the families selected for this year's initiative, including Christmas gifts for children, practical gifts for parents, and Christmas dinner for each family.
